The addition of CNC technology has made woodturning easier, faster, and safer. However, CAD software left me (a beginner with little experience) feeling completely overwhelmed, requiring a steep and lengthy learning curve. Apart from that, every feature has served me well so far.

This Hypertherm plasma cutter delivers top-notch results when cutting both metal sheets and tubing—handling both clean and rusted materials with equal proficiency. During test cuts conducted over the past few days, slicing through 1/2-inch-thick stainless steel felt as smooth as a hot knife through butter, and cutting through 3/4-inch-thick carbon steel was also a breeze, albeit at a slightly slower pace. The only drawback is the price, which may be beyond the reach of some hobbyists and home users. This slows us down a little bit but it's worth every single penny.
